When I went to see Jay yesterday afternoon his nurse had a wonderful surprise for me. A photo of my sweet baby boy drinking from his second bottle feeding. (His first was Friday)
Joe's already claimed it for his desk at work.

Last night while being held he was on room air (21%) this is a first for him since being on the cannula. They also lowered it from 1.5L down to 1L. He gained two more ounces, so he is now 3.6 pounds. And he is up to 28 cc's every 3 hours. That is almost one ounce!
His nurse also gave him two of his medications orally (they actually taste decent) He took them like a champ. And then sucked happily on his pacifier.

He's coming along sweetie. what a milestone! How many moms take for granted something as simple as a bottle feeding.

We are so excited for Jay to be bottle feeding! Every mL, gram, ounce is such a HUGE deal! And he's really coming along great with the oxygen! He will be home in no time, Ana!

Look at the big boy!!!!

I have something to ship to Jayan, but it probably won't go out until Monday because we're going out of town tomorrow morning.

I miss you guys and am so happy to see how well Jay's doing.
