Jay recently ranked up up to 2nd class in Boy Scouts. Completing a Scoutmaster conference and a Parent Board of review.

And here we are Jay is now a 7th grader at the same middle school that I went to. What a crazy circle that is. We went virtual in the middle of 6th grade because of Covid. It was a huge adjustment but Jay did a fantastic job getting through it. We are now Hybrid which means he goes to school 2 days a week and he is virtual 3. So far I think we are adjusting as well as we can. It puts a lot of responsibility on the kids and has definitely made them more independent. It also puts a lot on us parents as we end up having to teach them what they are not getting in class. Jay was on the honor roll his first trimester. We are very proud about that. If all goes well we hope that he will continue to do well through the rest of this year.
