1st Grade

First grade is going very well for Jay his teacher's name is Mrs. Weie (pronounced way) She is very hands on and cares deeply for her kids. Joe and I have met with her a few times as to Jay's progress and we are very please. Jay still has some small delays and we are working on his attention span but the one on one when he is pulled out of class will hopefully continue to contribute to his success in school.

Last fall Jay played soccer with AYSO for the first time. We hope to do that again this year. I would also really like him to join the Boy Scouts. Being an only child I think it will be good for him.

He is still fascinated with numbers and time. I think at this point he has a collection of six watches.

We do a family outing or activity every weekend so the little bean has time with both of us together. This has been very good for all three of us. Here are Jay's most recent pictures.
